HOW DO I PRICE ITEMS?
As a general rule you will want to price items at about 1/4 to 1/3 of their original retail price. (If
you really want the item gone, then mark it for $1.) If your item is a name-brand or boutique-brand
such as Gap, Gymboree, The Children's Place or another well known retailer or designer, you can
price closer to 1/3 of original retail. Clothing from Target or Wal-Mart should be priced on the
lower end. For example, if a GAP t-shirt can be purchased on sale for 11.99, you can reasonably
price it around $4 it is in good condition or $5 if it is in excellent condition. The one exception to
the 1/4-1/3 rule will be indoor/outdoor toys like kitchens and playhouses (Little Tykes-type items).
These toys are in higher demand and you can expect to get as much as 1/3-1/2 of original retail
price, especially if they have only been used indoors and are in great condition.
WILL YOU TAKE ALL MY ITEMS?
Please don't be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. It is often easy to miss a
spot or a tear when you are getting your items ready at home. We will Red Tag those items. Red
Tag items are those that are deemed out of season, out of date, dirty, stained or damaged and we
will tag them with a red tag stating why it was pulled from the racks. We want to be known for
having the best quality merchandise.
ARE CLOTHES LIMITED TO SEASON?
Yes! The Fall/Winter sale is for Fall/Winter clothes. Snow pants, Halloween costumes, gloves,
scarves, winter jackets, and Holiday dresses will be accepted. New2U reserves the right to pull
items that are out of season. Red Tagged items will be returned to you. We do this in order to
provide the best selection to our buyers. We thank you in advance for not including these items!
Tots2Teens will hold this sale again in the Spring for spring/summer seasonal clothes. You can
bring them back then.
CAN YOU DONATE UNSOLD ITEMS?
Yes! We will donate remaining items to a local charity. If you would like us to donate your items,
please let us know that you will NOT be picking them up.
CAN I PICK UP ITEMS THAT DON’T SELL?
Yes, at the designated time: Sunday, October 9 from 1:00 - 4:00.
DO I HAVE TO TAG MY ITEMS?
Yes!
DO CLOTHES HAVE TO BE ON HANGERS?
Yes, you can get wire hangers from the dry cleaners cheap. Socks bibs and small items can be
put in ziplock bags.
HOW DO I GET PAID? You will receive your check within 15 business days in the mail.
